Q1. Why do people die?

  Q2.And where do we go when we die?

A1. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but then the judgment.   Hebrews, 9:27   

A2.  As the first answer tells us we will go to judgment.  You will be going to live in Heaven with Jesus if you are "Born Again" John, 3:7, or to eternal hell "But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him".  Luke, 12:5.  If you are 'In Christ Jesus' you will be judged with Grace.  If you are not, you will be judged as a stranger to God.  'And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity' Mathew,7:23

  Q3. How can someone know that they are
going to live forever?

  A3.    These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

1 John 5:13
